Journal Jottings
The Port Macquarie and Districts Family History Society receives journals from other societies during the year.
Two members of the Support Committee review the paper and electronic journals each month. They each provide a precis, called Journal Jottings, that is presented at the monthly meeting and available below.
We operate a short term borrowing system to make these journals available to our members. The borrowing folder is on the shelves in the library and at the monthly meeting.
The hard copy journals are stored in boxes on the shelves in the library.
Electronic journals are stored on the Society's laptop or you can borrow them on thumb drive from our library shelves or at the monthly meeting.
Journals from NSW, Australia and overseas provide interesting information and articles relating to family history research.
